Dina Danzi, M.A., CCC-SLP:
Dina Danzi graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She was inducted into Pi Lambda Theta and Kappa Delta Pi international honor societies. Dina currently holds an ASHA and New York State license to practice.
Early on in her career, Dina worked as a part of a developmental evaluation team at NY Presbyterian Hospital, where she evaluated hundreds of children for speech and language delays and disorders.
She also worked in a variety of school settings throughout the tri-state area specializing in the treatment of children with Autism with a strong emphasis on auditory processing disorders. Dina has been in private practice since 2004 and co-founded Children First in 2007.
Dina brings a unique understanding of the importance of natural learning for the children we serve and provides consultation by overseeing programs and weighing in on the big picture approach to language development and generalization.
Sara Kahn, M.A., BCBA, NYS-LBA:
Sara has been working with children on the autism spectrum since 1997. She majored in Psychology from UCLA and it was there that she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Lovaas and his team at the UCLA Clinic for the Behavioral Treatment of Children. After several years, she moved to New York City to attend Teachers College at Columbia University, where she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Special Education, majoring in Applied Behavior Analysis.
She has been a BCBA since 2002 and a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst since licensure began in NY in 2014. Sara has worked directly with and supervised treatment teams for hundreds of children over the past 25 years. She practices in Manhattan, NY, where she also resides with her family.
